Kitty of the week

Meet Otis!
Animal Rescue League of Southern RI

Hello, I am Otis, and without being fluffy let me state that I am a special cat.

I am a handsome grey cat who has been at the rescue for over a year, and I am looking for a particular type of owner.

I need a patient owner who is willing to give me time to adapt and isn't expecting a lovable cat lap the second they see me at the shelter.

My intention is not to be difficult, but I am so nervous around the other cats in the shelter that I have a hard time being trusting.

We have seen other difficult cats go to forever homes and adapt in a matter of a night, and I am begging for that chance!

Please though, I do require a special type of home and owner who understands a cat and his behavioral signs.  Tolerance will be a key and it might be best to be in a situation without any other pets or children just to prevent any excess nervousness.

Once I warm up though, I promise to try and be the best cat you've ever met.  Sometimes there is a diamond in the rough and I might just be the very embodiment of that statement.

If you are up for a challenge with a fulfilling reward, please come say hi to me, Otis, at the ARLSRI!

Please stop by our shelter located at 506B Curtis Corner Road in Peace Dale or call 401-783-7606 for more information about the unique Otis or our many other adoptable pets waiting for their new forever homes.  You can also visit our website at www.arlsri.org.
