Poll:
30 % Of GOP Voters Believe Obama Wants To Impose Martial Law In Texas

now you’ve probably have heard about the crazy Jade Helm 15 conspiracy theory.
If
not, here’s a quick overview:
Jade
Helm 15 is a military training exercise that will be taking place this summer.
Somehow, the tin foil hat crowd has spun this into a fringe theory that
has President Obama leading the charge to round up political prisoners,
stick them in trains fitted with shackles, and dump them into FEMA camps
located in abandoned Walmart stores.
I
know. LOL.
But
there are people who actually believe this nonsense. In fact, a new survey from
Public Policy Polling is
reporting that more than 30
percent of Republicans believe “the government is trying to take over Texas,”
and 28 percent have yet to
make up their minds.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has
fueled the conspiracy theory by publicly stating that the Texas State Guard
will be monitoring Jade Helm. Ted Cruz and Rand
Paul have also
played into the lunacy by implying there might be some truth to this insanity.
As
you can see, the poll found that supporters of former Texas
Gov. Rick Perry and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz were most likely to believe that there
will be a military takeover.
