If you wish to vote in the September 12 primary - where the big races are for Governor and Lieutenant Governor - you MUST be registered to vote.
The DEADLINE to register so you can vote in the Primary is MONDAY.
Even though Rhode Island (alone in the nation) counts Monday as a government holiday, VJ Day, you can still register.

Online registration continues through 11:59 pm, Monday, August 13. Or you may register at your local Board of Canvassers (in Town Hall). They are to remain open until 4:30 pm on Monday, August 13.
