More Peeps Winners Announced!

Announcements for the winners of some of the 2011 Peeps® contests are starting to come in.

First place in the only local contest (the New London Day) goes to the Atria Crossroads Seniors in Waterford for the entry below. See all 90 "approved" entries here. There's no link for the ones that weren't approved so you'll have to use your imagination.

US Coast Guard Academy Peeps-Mencement (I didn't make up this title)

The first place winner, below,  in the St. Paul (MN) Pioneer-Press was an amazing piece of work by three generations of the Schomburg family who clearly have way too much time on their hands:

Great MN Peeptogether
However, my favorite in the Pioneer-Press's Peeps® competion follows. Click here to see the other entries.

Here's the Grand Prize winner for the Seattle Times' contest (click to see the rest of the winners).

Red, White & Peep Zombie Walk

The Chicago Tribune usually has a pretty good contest with lots of entries, but I was unimpressed this year so I'm not posting any. See for yourself.

For those of you who missed my earlier posting, the best contest, in my opinion, is the Washington Post's. They announced their contest winners last week. See them here.

Some of my favorites from other shows, mainly schools and libraries, below. I'll pass along other contest winners as they become available.
