On Sunday, members of the Charlestown Democratic Town Committee will be calling town voters to remind them to vote on Monday, June 6th, in the town's Financial Election.
So please don't be surprised - or offended - if you get a call from the Charlestown Dems urging you to turn out and vote FOR decent sanitary facilities at our town beaches (rather than our existing rolling outhouses).
We don't know if any of the Charlestown Citizens Alliance proxy groups, such as CRABS, E-COLI or CHOLERA, plan any similar Get-Out-The-Vote efforts, or whether they are simply relying on anonymous word of mouth. We've been exposing their lame-brained schemes for forcing beach goers to use the ocean as a toilet, or to "pack it in and pack it out" using things like the new Japanese "crap in a bag" invention.
On Monday June 6, don't be a CRAB - vote YES on Question #2 for new beach sanitary facilities at Charlestown Town Hall, between 8 AM and 8 PM.
