The OMG PD column at South Kingston Patch.com continues to entertain us with the antics of our Rhode Island neighbors.
When reading this excerpt from today's column I felt glad that this sort of thing couldn't ever happen in Charlestown. Could it?
They make movies about neighbors like this
An East Greenwich resident called police after a three-foot-long arrow landed five feet from him while he was in his yard.
He got a little more alarmed when he saw his neighbor shooting arrows with what appeared to be a high-powered bow. Police had a little chat with the neighbor and told him that wasn’t really a good thing to do.
The original article here contains more reports that you could not make up, such as the man caught stealing change from cars saying “I couldn't help it. The windows were open and the change was calling my name.”
