Your friendly Progressive Charlestown writer decided that the staff at town hall has been enduring enough Tricks and it was time to give them some Treats.
And this is the Halloween Happening day at Town Hall from 9 am until 4:30 pm (see calendar in the right sidebar) so we had an ideal opportunity. The invitation said all kids are welcome so that certainly includes us!
With the entire research and photography staff of our Eastern Bureau office, we dressed up, loaded into the car, and went around Town Hall handing out biscotti to everyone we saw.
We were glad to see many staff members dressed as characters of their fantasies. The one I caught for the photo would like to be a Red Sox pitcher, I think. Either that or to start a computer game company and get a big loan guarantee from the state.
Try to get to Town Hall today to pick up some candy, or leave some behind. You can bring your children if you prefer but I don't think it's necessary. If you dress up just expect some strange looks from citizens doing business in the building.
