No news news

It’s Christmas weekend – why are you reading this article?

Kim Jong-Il looking at rice: this is probably what killed him

By Will Collette

I have placed this article in the queue to be posted automatically for the amusement of those of you who don’t have any thing better to do.

Kim Jong-Il is dead. As you probably know already. What you don’t know is that his death has had the unintended consequence of spelling the end of one of my favorite websites, “Kim Jong-Il Looking At Things.” This site has had a long and honorable history of posting photos of….Kim Jong-Il looking at things. I especially liked the one posted on December 22 that shows him looking at toilet paper.

From Fake Science

Or is that "Kim Jong the Second? “ That's how the news release from Rick Perry’s Presidential Campaign called him when they released the Dear Candidate’s statement on Kim’s death. Imagine how much fun it would be if he was the President. Not.

Google this: On the Google search page, search for this: “Do a barrel roll” and then search for “askew”. And if you're feeling festive, Google "let it snow."

Dim bulbs. Lost amid the bang and clatter of the recent debate over legislation to extend the payroll tax cut for 160 million workers and extended federal unemployment benefits was one of the GOP’s top priority issues. That paramount issue of freedom is none other than the freedom to use wasteful light bulbs. It added several days of delay to the final deal to pass the tax cut and unemployment benefits bill, even though the US lighting industry is furious at Republicans for creating this bogus issue. According to Politico, Phillips, Sylvania and General Electric lobbied hard to get the GOP to STOP trying to block the new light bulb efficiency standards set to go into force in January. They say they are already set to comply. They are also angry because Republicans misrepresented the issue by claiming the standards would outlaw incandescent bulbs – when they don’t. The new standards simply require bulbs to be 30% more efficient and new incandescents will meet that standard.

Washington Post reveals a conspiracy? Another Google search – this time, type “Illuminati” BACKWARDS, then add .com and see where you end up.
