Breachway Grill - is not open Valentine's Day but will have Valentine's Weekend specials Friday through Sunday, February 3-5. The menu was not finalized as this article was being published but the ideas for menu items that Josh shared with me sounded great.
The Cove - will have extra special specials for Valentine's Day but did not have the menu finalized as this was being published.
Hungry Haven - this local favorite in the Simple Pleasures shopping complex is not open for dinner on Tuesdays but this is a good opportunity to mention that they have a regular Saturday dinner deal of a shared appetizer and two entrees, from a nice list that includes prime rib, for $30.95. Hungry Haven is BYOB so you can bring your favorite adult beverage.

Being good Charlestown residents we joke about having to pack a lunch to make a trip north of 138 or all the way to Westerly. But here are some additional restaurant choices for the sort who like to plan a big trip.
Celestial Cafe - this destination for creative dishes by Branden Read, in Oak Harbour Village on Route 2 in Exeter, is well-known for their monthly farm dinner featuring local ingredients. Their special Valentine's Day menu, for one night only, can be seen here. Call 295-5559 for reservations.
The Haversham Tavern - newly re-opened under a traditional name for this destination at Haversham Corners, it's a real success judging by the persistent weekend crowds willing to wait for a table. They will be having a multi-day Valentine's Weekend Celebration Friday through Tuesday with dinner for two including a bottle of wine to share, soup or salad, filet mignon and lobster tail and a dessert to share for $100 per couple. Call 322-1717 for reservations.
Shelter Harbor Inn - this fine restaurant is just outside of Charlestown on Wagner Road in Westerly. They will also be holding one of their popular Wine Dinners on Friday February 11, information here. From past experience the wine flows freely and if you fear overdoing it they have special room packages to make it a Valentine getaway weekend. They will be open on Tuesday night with their regular menu.
