David Scharfenberg at the Providence Phoenix reports today that the Providence Journal has apparently decided to suspend running one of my favorite comic strips, Doonesbury, because Doonesbury artist Gary Trudeau is devoting this week's strip to the controversial war by Republicans against contraception and choice.
