Having trouble paying your heating bills? Contact the South County Community Action Agency to inquire about the income guidelines and / or to schedule an appointment to fill out an application. If determined eligible you will receive a grant towards your heating bill.
South County Community Action provides assistance to residents of Charlestown, Exeter, Hopkinton, Narragansett, New Shoreham, North Kingstown, Richmond, South Kingstown, West Greenwich and Westerly.

Here’s a complete list of programs that might be helpful to you this winter:

Heating Assistance (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program)
Assistance in paying heating/utility bills during the winter months to reduce home-heating costs (gas, electric, propane, oil, kerosene or wood). Available to low-income residents in the towns of Charlestown, Exeter, Hopkinton, Narragansett, New Shoreham, North Kingstown, Richmond, South Kingstown, Westerly and West Greenwich.
