UPDATED: Celebrating Gun Appreciation Day

Last Saturday, gun owners across the United States celebrated Gun Appreciation Day, their own macabre answer to rising public demands for action to curb gun violence.

At least five people were shot at actual “Gun Appreciation Day” events – those NRA folks sure know how to party. David Waldman decided to look a little deeper at what else took place on January 19^th to highlight how much we Americans love guns and shooting people.
