Narragansett Powwow this weekend

338th Annual August Meeting on August 10-11

Narragansett Indian Tribe will host its 338th Annual August Meeting Powwow this weekend (August 10th & 11th) on the theme “Keeping Our Culture Alive”.

It will be held at the Narragansett Indian Church Ground on Indian Church Road in Charlestown, RI. Because parking on site is very limited, visitors generally park at the Tribe's Health Center on South County Trail and then shuttle to the site which is deep in the woods.

Open to the Public  – 10 am. General Admission: Adults - $6; Children - $2

-Native American drumming, singing, dancing, And storytelling
- Native American Arts and Crafts - Native American Traditional/Contemporary Foods

Grand Entry:
Saturday & Sunday @ 1pm 
* Host Drum- Young Blood Singers*
