We’re not sure how
many cats a person has to own to be considered a crazy cat lady, but this woman definitely has
the minimum requirement on that front.
Barrington police, not
one but two animal rescue organizations, and a veterinarian
are working to help the woman find homes for her cats she’s been hoarding as
she is moving away. How many cats are we talking about? Oh, just like 60
cats.
By law, the woman can have as many cats as she wants, as long as they’re well cared for. To the woman’s credit, she was able to feed and care for all of the felines who were all in good health. So, does anyone need a cat for Christmas?
Maybe the Third Time’s a Charm?
A 62-year-old woman
from Jamestown was confused by officers’ instructions during her field sobriety
test in South Kingstown this past week.
Sure, this happens to
many people pulled over on suspicion of drunken driving. Unlike most people in this
situation, this woman had recently taken a field sobriety test –and by “recent”
we mean “three days prior.”
The Jamestown woman
had been arrested on DUI charges just three days before, even
allegedly telling officers that she “had too much to drink.”

A teen made a poor
choice when he chose a bush outside a monastery as his drug drop-off spot as he
clearly didn’t factor crime-solving nuns into his calculations. (Crime-solving
nuns: can we make this a thing?)
The nuns allegedly saw
the teen put a bag underneath a bush outside the monastery and went to
investigate, finding the bag contained marijuana.
