In the winter we will visit some coastal areas to see over wintering ducks and sea birds. In spring we'll look for woodcocks and early spring migrants. Most walks are on easy trails, but be prepared for cold weather. You must pre-register to find the meeting location. Bring binoculars; field guides are optional. The fee is $5 for WPWA members; $10 nonmembers.

BIRDING WALK #6 at Great Swamp Management Area, West Kingston, RI. It's Turkey Hunting Season. For this hike please be sure to wear florescent orange and leave your turkey costumes at home!
Plus ... FLY-TYING CLASSES
On March 4, 11, 18, and 25, Tuesday, from 6:30 pm to 9 pm join WPWA volunteer and TU instructor, Jay Boyer, for a series of four fly-tying lessons at the WPWA Campus that will get you ready for fishing season. Each week Jay will demonstrate a different fly. Each lesson is $10 for WPWA members; $15 non-members.
