Warm feet, heads and hearts

HOPE VALLEY, RI  – Recently, the staff at Wood River Health Services collected more than 300 packages of new socks and underwear, along with hats, mittens and gloves. The items were delivered to the WARM Center in Westerly Wed., Feb. 12, during a lunchtime blood pressure screening clinic held for WARM residents by the health center and Blue Cross Blue Shield of RI.

Wood River Health Services is the Federally Qualified Community Health Center for southwestern Rhode Island, providing medical and dental care and social services to over 9,000 area residents.
The center also provides a nationally recognized chronic disease management program, on-site lab testing in cooperation with Westerly Hospital and behavioral and mental health counseling referrals.
