Bowled Over for SRI VOLUNTEERS—March 30, 2014

Break out of the winter doldrums:   Calling All Bowlers and Everyone Else Too!

Southern Rhode Island Volunteers is excited to invite you to join us on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Old Mountain Lanes for Bowled Over for SRI VOLUNTEERS.  

With support from our generous event sponsor, Stedman & Kazounis Plumbing & Heating and lane sponsors, A.B. Hoxie Well & Pump, Inc., Gates Insurance Agency, and Stasiunas Companies among others, bowlers will fill the lanes between 12/noon and 3 pm to raise awareness and support for nutrition support services at SRIV for our elderly and disabled neighbors across Washington County. 

This year’s Bowl-A-Thon is held again at Old Mountain Lanes, 756 Kingstown Rd, Wakefield, RI—Thank you to Old Mountain for their generous and continued support of elder nutrition as well.

So what is the deal?  We ask for just $20 per person for a FUN filled afternoon with UNLIMITED bowling, shoe rental, lunch and refreshments, entertainment, prizes and raffles!

All proceeds will be used in support of SRIV’s Independent Aging Nutrition services including delivery of Meals on Wheels and food from local pantries as well as grocery shopping assistance.  Won’t you please consider supporting this service for our elderly and disabled neighbors?  So come one and come all! Bring the whole family along!  Registration starts at 11am; bowling begins at noon.  Raffles will be drawn at 2:45 pm.
