Arrowhead
Dental Associates will host Dentistry From The Heart - providing over one
hundred twenty people with free dental care on Saturday, August 9th,
2014.
Charlestown, RI – On
August 9, 2014, Arrowhead
Dental Associates will host their sixth annual Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH)
event – providing a free day of dental care to over one hundred local residents.
The doctors, hygienists, staff, and family
volunteers are donating their time to offer free dentistry to those in the
South County area who are in need of
dental services but who have no means to afford it, whether they are out of a
job or have little or no dental insurance.
This is Arrowhead Dental Associates’ way of giving back to the
community.
The
event will take place on Saturday, August 9th, 2014 at Arrowhead Dental
Associates, 4995 South County Trail, Charlestown, RI.
Starting at 7:30 a.m., Drs. Bruce Gouin,
Christine Benoit, Richard Walsh, Nectara Stefano, Brendan Gouin, Frank Vezzoli and
their staff, family members, and volunteers along with Dr. Frank DeQuattro, Dr.
Paul Geunes and Dr. Eric George will treat the first 120 patients or however
many we can serve by 5:00 p.m.
Appointments will be given on a first come/first served basis. Doctors will provide exams, fillings, and extractions; hygienists will provide cleanings, x-rays, and sealants.
Because
of the great need in our area, we are limiting our services to patients from
the South County area only. We regret we
cannot serve our entire state; we are hoping that other offices will consider
doing their own Dentistry From the Heart free dental day in their communities.
The media is invited to join the many
volunteers, patients and Arrowhead Dental Associates on Saturday, August 9th,
2014 to spread free smiles across South County through Dentistry From The Heart
located at 4995 South County Trail, Charlestown, RI. For more information please visit www.arrowhead-dental.com or call

DFTH is a national non-profit
organization with a simple mission – making people smile. Founded in 2001 by a dentist in New Port
Richey, Florida, DFTH was created to
aid those in need, including the growing population of under-insured
Americans.
Over 100 million Americans
lack dental insurance and over 29% of adults have untreated cavities. Without events like DFTH, dental care simply isn’t an option for many of the
uninsured. To date, DFTH has helped over 45,000 patients and provided over $8,000,000
in dental care.
