- Letter: Missing the point on true open government by Deb Carney. Where Deb wonders why she can be criticized for making the complaint about an Open Meeting Violation (OMV) which resulted in an Attorney General ruling against the town. She also thinks it's pretty bold for Ms. Platner to claim that ClerkBase video means an OMV violation cannot happen when 1) the video does not show the required individual votes and 2) the Planning Commission discussion about the Attorney General's ruling was conveniently omitted from the video.

- U.S. Representative Jim Langevin dropped in to give Chariho Superintendent Barry Ricci a Congressional Certificate of Recognition for his state Superintendent of the Year award.
- Letter: Wondering where CCA was at community event by Frank Glista. Where Frank points out that The Charlestown Rathskeller held a popular walk in support of the American Cancer Society. Rep. Donna Walsh was a speaker and a Council member Paula Andersen, supported by the Democratic Town Committee, participated. Frank noted that CCA campaign signs were seen during the 5K walk but no CCA candidates or leaders. (Of course, many members of the CCA Steering Committee do not even live in the state.)
