Drinking
union beer while watching union workers play the game
By

One
fact about the Super Bowl that gets little attention is that it all the players
on the field are union members, represented by one of America’s strongest
unions, the NFL Players Association.
A
bogus anti-union group, the fraudulently named “Center
for Union Facts” will be airing an anti-union commercial during the game,
paid for by the almost $4 million paid into it by union-busting employers.
If
you plan to throw your beer at the screen, make sure it’s a union brew (and by
the way, I hope you miss).
While
some major brands (e.g. Heineken and Guiness) are non-union, a lot of American
beer is proudly made by union workers.
