Dog of the Week

Meet Allie!
From Animal Rescue Rhode Island (ARRI) [see FN1]

Hello, I’m Allie! I am a sweet girl in search of a special home.

I am a boxer mix and a great size at only 40 pounds.

Because of an abusive past, I am a little leery of men, so a home with only women would be a perfect fit.

I have been waiting at the shelter for a while, but I know the right home is out there for me.

I am a very playful girl and I love to play a lot but I am happy to rest and relax too!

Will you give me a chance? Please come visit me at the shelter and see my wonderful personality!

Please stop by our brand new shelter located at 506B Curtis Corner Road in Peace Dale or call 401-783-7606 for more information about the playful Allie or our many other adoptable pets waiting for their new forever homes.

You can also visit our website at www.arlsri.org.

FOOTNOTE

[1] The Animal Rescue League of Southern Rhode Island just held its grand opening for its new 7000 square foot state-of-the art shelter. And in addition to a sharp new facility, they have also changed their name to “Animal Rescue Rhode Island” (ARRI) with an expanded mission that is still rooted in South County. I will have a separate article on the new facility and focus for ARRI, which by the way, is a much easier acronym to spell and pronounce that ARLSRI. - Will Collette
