Animal Spotlight: Baby Seahorses While they are not on exhibit, we are happy to announce the birth of MANY newborn seahorses. Ranging in age from one week to one month, these juvenile seahorses are not strong enough to avoid the exhibit's filtration system. Our Aquarists care for these little critters - which are anywhere from 1/2 inch to about 1/4 inch long - by feeding them and cleaning their bowls three times a day.
