“Give them the best summer
ever!”
From the Frosty Drew Nature Center
They
are a fun, educational alternative to summer day camp, and one week is already
filled to capacity.
Nature
Weeks begin on June 27 and runs through August 19.
The small group size and the naturalist-to-child ratio of 1:6 encourage children to develop their curiosity through observation and exploration.
There
is a different nature-based topic each day in this hands-on program that
encourages a connection with the natural world.
Children
have fun outdoors, in and out of the water, and experience times for active
adventure and quiet reflection.
Children
create journals that later become a treasured souvenir of summer memories.
Since
1983, the educators at Frosty Drew Nature Center have helped children explore
the diverse environment of Ninigret Park and Ninigret Wildlife Refuge.
