Animal Spotlight: Tortoise
 Tortoise or turtle - how can you tell the
difference? It's pretty simple: tortoises are land-dwelling reptiles,
while turtles spend most of their time in the water.
Ghost Rider, pictured to the left, is Mystic Aquarium's resident
tortoise. His diet consists of hearty salads filled with a variety of
fruits and vegetables.
While generally a shy creature, you can meet and learn more about
Ghost Rider or one of our resident turtles at Tea with Turtles
during Toddler
Tuesdays on Nov.
