On Tuesday, March 7, three important bills are up for a hearing before the House Committee on Corporations.

They are:

House Bill 5530 (sponsored by Representative Moira Walsh) would repeal the antiquated and offensive marriage requirement from Rhode Island’s health insurance mandate for coverage of infertility services.

House Bill 5435 will repeal the anti-union prohibition on state employee’s health insurance covering abortion services.

These are three concrete ways Rhode Island can stand up against the radical right-wing agenda of President Trump, Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Leader Mitch McConnell.

It has never been more important to raise our voices in support of reproductive freedom!

Thank you!
