No school, no lunch

Rhode Island Community Food Bank

No School Means No Lunch

Help Provide Meals for Hungry Children
Our state's most vulnerable children receive nutritious breakfasts and lunches at school during the school year. But when school lets out for the summer, these meals will stop.
That's when hunger begins for thousands of children in Rhode Island.
Each month, 59,000 Rhode Islanders receive food assistance through our network of 160 agencies. One in three is a child under the age of 18
Without your help, many children will spend the summer hungry instead of playing with friends, going to the beach, and generally just being kids during school vacation.

For every $100 you donate, the Food Bank can provide 250 meals to hungry children and their families this summer.
With my sincere thanks,
