Fine weather in Charlestown means high pollen count

Good news, bad news
By Will Collette

We should count our blessings that the worst we have to deal with over the next several days is beautiful sunny skies and a really wicked high pollen count resulting from that nice weather. Unlike the folks in south Texas who face the deadly threat of Hurricane Harvey.

The National Weather Service forecast for Charlestown is for sunny and dry weather through next Thursday. Don't forget to water your tomato plants.

That will cause high pollen counts until the next day when it rains.
