Exposed: Ivanka
Caught Mocking Her Father’s Bizarre Hairdo
Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury:
Inside the Trump White House” is turning out to be the gift that keeps
giving.
Amazon’s description of the
book begins by noting that: “With extraordinary access to
the Trump White House, Michael Wolff tells the inside story of the most
controversial presidency of our time.”
Continuing, Amazon cites the follow “wealth of new details about the chaos in the Oval Office” to include the following:
- What President Trump’s staff really thinks of him
- What inspired Trump to claim he was wire-tapped by President Obama
- Why FBI director James Comey was really fired
- Why chief strategist Steve Bannon and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner couldn’t be in the same room
- Who is really directing the Trump administration’s strategy in the wake of Bannon’s firing
- What the secret to communicating with Trump is
- What the Trump administration has in common with the movie The Producers
Page 79 of the Kindle version of the book offers some insight into Ivanka Trump’s relationship with her father – his bizarre hairdo in particular.
As the New York Post reported:
“Trump’s bizarre hairdo is the result of scalp-reduction surgery, careful styling held in place by strong hairspray — and too much cheap dye… Daughter Ivanka Trump often makes fun of her dad’s comb-over to friends and delights in explaining how the crazy coiffure comes together, according to ‘Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.'”
Below is Wolff’s accounting from “Fire
and Fury:”
She treated her father with some lightness, even irony, and in at least one television interview she made fun of [Trump’s] comb-over. She often described the mechanics behind it to friends: an absolutely clean pate — a contained island after scalp-reduction surgery — surrounded by a furry circle of hair around the sides and front, from which all ends are drawn up to meet in the center and then swept back and secured by a stiffening spray.
Continuing, Wolff recounts Ivanka’s
explanation for the orange hue of his hair:
The color, she would point out to comical effect, was from a product called Just for Men — the longer it was left on, the darker it got. Impatience resulted in Trump’s orange-blond hair color.
