Home Depot co-founder
Bernie Marcus, obviously a very ‘stable genius,’ really put the massive chain
store on the spot by opening his big fat mouth during an interview with Neal
Cavuto on the Fox News Channel.
Marcus said that
Democrats are brainless.
“Democrats, use your
stupid brains. You don’t have any brains and don’t understand what happens,”
Marcus said as he stuck his foot in his mouth.
“This is not going to
turn overnight. Corporations are not going to open 14 buildings overnight. Come
on, give me a break, you’ve got to use your brains,” he said, referring to the
economy, obviously trying to tout the GOP tax scam.
“These are things that
the [Nancy] Pelosi and [Chuck] Schumer group don’t have a clue about. It’s why
they lost the election, it’s as simple as that,” Marcus said. “[Hillary]
Clinton never knew about the real people out there. That’s why they lost the
election, and that’s why they’re going to lose the next election for the same
reason.”
“You’ve got to use
your brains! Democrats, use your stupid brains,” Marcus continued as if he
couldn’t stop himself. “You don’t have any brains!”
To Cavuto’s credit, he did try to calm Marcus down, but the Home
Depot co-founder continued ranting about Democrats.
While quite a few people
on Twitter are calling for a boycott, Marcus retired as Chairman of the Board
in 2002.
Still, it’s really bad optics to show Home Depot in the
background as the co-founder rants about Democrats’ ‘stupid brains.’
He blasted ‘elitist’ Democrats, and yet he’s worth $4.3 billion.
As a wise man once said,
it’s ‘Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove
all doubt.’
