During the month of July, Mystic Aquarium’s
conservation events are all about Nature Play Programming. The Aquarium’s conservation-focused programs are designed to inform guests about the importance of preserving and protecting the environment through fun and engaging outdoor experiences.
The outdoor family fun kicks-off on Tuesday, July 3
with a Nature Play Aquarium Camp Out.
The overnight adventure starts at 7:00 pm and wraps up the following morning at 9:00 am. Participating families will have the unique opportunity to explore the Aquarium at night.

This one-of-a-kind special event will have participants camping inside the Aquarium, exploring the Sea School Green and enjoying a night hike on a local land trust preserve. The program cost is $25 per person.
All participants must bring their own tent and sleeping gear. Children must be accompanied by a paying, participating adult.
The fun continues as Aquarium guests are invited to
let nature be their muse during Nature Play in the Green on July 14.
With this the final event in the Aquarium’s summer Nature Play Programming series, the Sea School Green opens from 10:00am to 12:00pm for Aquarium members and guests to get hands on with “Nature Art.”
Families are encouraged to let their imaginations soar while creating leafy creatures, fairy houses and more out of natural products.
