Fiber and Fiction Center
presents writer’s workshop
The Carolina Fiber and Fiction Center is offering a unique
opportunity for writers of all levels of ability, during its day long retreat, Poetry, Prose, and Procrastination.
Participants will have the chance to consider the challenges and gifts of procrastination in their chosen genre, while working in the private, waterfront studio of Fiber and Fiction Center co-founder Grace Farrell.
Facilitated by Farrell, and award-winning journalist, Patricia Ann Chaffee, the event will include writing, sharing work, lunch and renewal for the body, mind and spirit.

“This is really an opportunity for writers to explore ways to overcome procrastination and move forward with their creative endeavors,” said Farrell. “Procrastination is something we’re all good at and it’s time to talk about it. It will be a fun day, a relaxing day, a purposeful day.”
Registration is $195 per
person for the all- inclusive gathering which takes place Saturday, August 25 from 9:30-4:00.
