Wood-Pawcatuck Watershed Assn. offers classes

Choices...fishing or going off trail..why not both?
 Beginners Fly Fishing Class
Limited to 10 Participants
Monday Evenings, March 9 - April 13
Learn how to increase your comfort and knowledge enough to actually catch fish with a fly!  Join a life-long fly fisher who will explain and have hands on practice for topics such as casting, equipment/gear/tackle, knots, reading water, flies/hatches and stream etiquette.
Six classes at two-hours each, cost is $135, ten participants max.
Age: 14+ . Under 18 must register and also be accompanied by a paying adult.

 AND
 Map and Compass Class
Limited to 20 Participants
 May 7th  & 9th
Join WPWA and the Narragansett Chapter of the AMC for a two-part course to read and understand maps and use a compass correctly. At the end of this course, participants will feel more comfortable with their abilities to plan routes, blaze there own trail, and come out safely.
To ensure that you have a personalized experience, there will be no more than five participants for every instructor! Students have found that the indoor lesson followed by the Saturday field practice provides a lot of knowledge to beginners.  This 2 part class has a maximum of 20 and has already begun to fill up, so register here today.
 Indoor Class at WPWA in Hope Valley, RI on Thursday May 7, 2020 from 6PM to 9 PM.
Field Practice at Arcadia Management Area on Saturday May 9, 9 AM - 3 PM.
