We are excited to announce a phased reopening in
accordance with Governor Ned Lamont’s Reopen Connecticut Plan.
Access to the Aquarium will be limited to outdoor spaces at 50%
occupancy.
On behalf of our entire staff, we are incredibly
grateful for your continued support throughout this crisis and your
trust in us as you prepare to return to Mystic Aquarium!
We look forward to opening
the gates to all guests on Friday, May 22.
The Aquarium will host a
soft opening for MEMBERS only, on Wednesday, May 20.

Mystic Aquarium is proud to welcome all frontline workers to
visit for free.
As we welcome our guests
back, we have made some very important changes to the
visitor experience to help ensure the safety of guests,
employees, volunteers and, of course, the animals in our care.
We strongly encourage you
to visit our website for a complete overview.
To ensure proper social distancing, Mystic
Aquarium will limit the number of visitors on campus
at any one time to enjoy the outdoor exhibits as
facilitated by time-entry for ALL guests. Click here for
