Next steps: Meet Megan Cotter!
Kristen Chambers
Megan Cotter for RI House District 39 in 2022 |
I recently joined an
advisory board for the wonderful Megan Cotter, a candidate for state
representative in our district. Megan is a working mom from Exeter who has
fought to improve our public schools, worked to protect our environment, and
advocated for living wages for all.
She ran for state
representative against Justin Price in 2020, and since then it's only become
even clearer that Rep. Price has no place representing the people of Exeter,
Hopkinton, and Richmond. That's why I'm so excited that Megan is running again.
In fact, I've joined a
team of community members willing to volunteer overtime to ensure our community
has the representation we deserve in 2022 and beyond. The movement to bring
truth, compassion, and South County values back to the State House is growing,
and you can join too!
Because that’s exactly
what it will take for change to happen: a movement.
The Richmond
Democratic Town Committee will be hosting a virtual fundraiser for Megan Cotter
next Thursday, February 25 at 7 pm.
It will be a chance to
hear from Megan herself about her platform and goals, as well as our special
guests RI General Treasurer Seth Magaziner, “The Bartholomewtown Podcast” host
Bill Bartholomew, and former Rep. Aaron Regunberg about why they support
Megan’s campaign.
Whether or not you’re
able to donate, I would love for you to be there and meet the candidate I’ve
gotten so excited about.
★ Click here to RSVP for our event on Thursday 2/25 at
7:00pm
If you can’t be there but want to support the campaign with a contribution, please click here to donate an amount that reflects our shared commitment to our community.
Let me know if you
have any questions about Megan, the event, or my work on Megan’s advisory team!
I would love for you to be a part of this movement for change with me. I hope
to see you next Thursday.
