Just to be clear, the reason why cancer's death toll does not provoke masks or shutdowns is because cancer, for the most part, is not contagious. There is however one cancer that is contagious: HPV, which causes cervical cancer and others. There is a safe and effective vaccine that stops HPV, but naturally right-wing nuts like Marjorie Taylor Greene oppose its use.
