Magaziner Earns Support from Broad Coalition of RI Women Leaders

Magaziner continues to rack up support for Congressional race

General Treasurer and congressional candidate Seth Magaziner today announced the upcoming “Women for Seth” reception that will be held on April 27, hosted by over 30 Rhode Island women leaders who are endorsing his bid to be the next representative of Rhode Island’s second congressional district.

“I am honored to have earned the support of exceptional Rhode Island women who are contributing so much to our state,” said General Treasurer and congressional candidate Seth Magaziner.

“The fight of our generation is happening in Washington, and I am committed to building a better future for Rhode Island by protecting the Affordable Care Act, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, protecting access to reproductive health care, and making early education and childcare more affordable.”

 Since taking office, Magaziner has fought to raise the minimum wage, pass fair pay legislation, codify Roe v. Wade at the state level, and support common-sense measures to reduce gun violence. 

He has also led a school construction initiative that has repaired or replaced nearly 200 school buildings so all RI students can go to schools that will prepare them for a bright future.

Magaziner is running for Congress to continue building a better Rhode Island by protecting the Affordable Care Act, lowering the cost of prescription drugs, and making pre-K universal and childcare more affordable.
