Sarah Morgenthau is running for Congress to represent Charlestown
In an interview with WPRI, Morgenthau admitted she and her kids have never attended school in Rhode Island and would not say if she has ever been a full-time resident of Rhode Island.
She did make the statement that she has been paying property taxes and, under the CCA's way of looking at voting rights, that should qualify here...despite what state law says.
I do not recall the CCA ever endorsing a Democrat for any office, but this could be a first given the CCA's historic support for absentee landowners.
