Talk Like a Pirate Day has been held annually around the world every September 19 since 1995. On this day, we are reminded of all the pirates past, present and future who labor tirelessly to line their pockets at others expense. Or, in Piratese:
"Ahoy, matey. This be the day we old salts ponder the deeds of bilge rats from the time of Aaron Burr to the Tangerine Terror of Mar-a-Lago. May he and all his buckos walk the plank!"
