Marjorie Taylor Greene claims she was 'attacked' at restaurant

Walter Einenkel, Daily Kos Staff

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, fresh off her screaming during the State of the Unionproposing a dissolution of the United States, and attacking Joe Biden for supporting Ukraine, seems to have no plans to stop sticking her foot into her mouth. Rep. Greene went to her unsuspended Twitter account on Feb. 27, to allege:

“I was attacked in a restaurant tonight by an insane women and screamed at by her adult son. They had no respect for the restaurant or the staff or the other people dining or people like me who simply have different political views. They are self-righteous, insane, and completely out of control. I was sitting at my table, working with my staff, and never even noticed these people until they turned into demons. People used to respect others even if they had different views. But not anymore. Our country is gone.”

Teehee. Yes, you read that right. As most people have remarked, Ms. Greene isn’t the most reliable narrator of any event because she’s a liar who works for liars who make money and consolidate power by lying.

NBC News tried to get some attestation of these events and received a statement from Greene's deputy chief Nick Dyer, who claims a woman began berating the representative at a restaurant, and then her adult son began "screaming expletives at the top of his lungs." Well, if one person on her staff says something maybe happened, that’s something?

The rest of the known universe, having been subject to Ms. Greene’s “respect” and public displays of “control” over the last six years, responded with a resounding “Ha!”

The responses were … well.

A lot of people pointed out that while Ms. Greene was unable to provide any evidence of being harassed, there is a video of Ms. Greene, before she carpetbagged her way into Congress, harassing a teenage David Hogg on the streets of Washington, D.C.

Mr. Hogg, a survivor of the mass shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, was in D.C. at the time to speak to representatives about gun safety legislation. In fact, David Hogg himself shared his experience with Ms. Greene.
