Charlestown icon Charlie Beck died suddenly

Charles W. Beck, May 18, 1950 ~ March 19, 2024

Charlie championed electronic waste recycling
by hosting free drop-off days every few months in the
Mini-Super parking lot. He started that in 2014 when the
CCA's Town Administrator Mark Stankiewicz cancelled
free drop-off at the town's transfer station. Pick up was
done by Charlestown local business Indie Cycle.
