Saturday, April 13: Trout fishing opening day in Rhode Island. Stocked locations are listed here.
Saturday, April 13: The Flashlight Family Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Ninigret Park at 7:30 p.m. Online registration is available here.
Monday, April 15: starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Charlestown Elementary School, the Town Council will hold their first discussion on the draft Ninigret Park Master Plan. This will be the first time the Town Council will discuss the vision for the park that was drafted by the consultants. The draft can be read here.
Thursday, April 18: Superhero Breakfast at The Hungry Haven, 5000 South County Trail from 9-11 a.m. Dress up as your own superhero or come as you are and there will be discounted breakfast specials for all that participate. Cross Mills Fire Department and the Charlestown Ambulance Corp. will be there, showing emergency equipment, to share in the fun!

Monday, May 6: as mentioned above, Charlestown's Budget Public Hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Charlestown Town Hall.
Tuesday, May 7, 2024: The Chariho School District
school construction plan has been in the news, and social media, a lot. The
Bond Referendum for that will be held on May 7 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. All
Charlestown Voters will vote at Charlestown Town Hall. (Early in-person voting
is provided April 17 - May 6, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm at the Charlestown Town Hall.)
