Need help dealing with federal bureaucracy?

Over 1000 Rhode Islanders called Seth

U.S. Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) announced that his office has helped 1,000 constituents cut through red tape at federal agencies like the IRS and Social Security Administration – returning $5,674,021 owed to Rhode Islanders.

“I came to Congress to improve the lives of working Rhode Islanders in any way possible,” said Rep. Seth Magaziner. “I am incredibly proud of our constituent services team, who are committed to providing the highest level of service and ensuring constituents receive the assistance they need and the benefits they have earned. We will continue working hard to cut through the bureaucracy and advocate on behalf of Rhode Islanders.”

Dozens of constituents shared testimonials on their customer service experience working with Rep. Magaziner’s office to resolve issues with a federal agency. A selection is below:

·       “I had won my Social Security benefits but it had been 8 months and I had received no payment. Within two weeks of calling [Rep. Magaziner’s office] I had started to receive payments and letters informing me of my Social Security benefits,” said Tegan from Coventry

·       “After patiently waiting for our daughters’ passports for 10-12 weeks and hearing the challenges others had faced, we reached out to Seth Magaziner’s office. Our travel date was less than 2 weeks away and with their help, the passports arrived in two days. We are very thankful for the timely assistance we received!” said Lindsay from South Kingstown

·       “I am so grateful for the help and assistance I received from Rep. Magaziner’s office in resolving an almost two year problem regarding my Social Security benefits being applied properly to my Medicare premiums. I was truthfully afraid that I would lose my Medicare benefits. I would never have thought that my congressional representative’s office could help me on this issue but they did! I am so pleased with the result,” said Susan from Providence

·       “After trying unsuccessfully for weeks to get in touch with a federal agency, I contacted your office for assistance. Not only was [the constituent services representative] able to help me get the response I needed, he even checked in several times to make sure all of my questions were answered. I can’t thank you enough for the help,” said Christopher from Warwick
